June 30

The plan had been to get up early and hit the trolley again.  The “early” bit didn’t work.  We did a little early packing this morning.  While Lana showered, I laid down and dozed off, so when Lana got ready, she laid down beside me and dozed off, too  We were finally up and around by 11.  Back at Granville Island, we ate at a ritzy little café called The Cat’s Meow, where the staff are all Certified Beautiful People.  It looked like all the local fashion models moonlighted there as waitresses.  The food was good, with the exception of the crab-cakes, which they advertised as a house specialty, but were only OK.  We shopped a bit, rode the trolley to Gastown, went to the Imax theater at Canada Place (the cruise ship terminal), then walked back to Steamworks for our second dinner there. 

We were in bed by 10.
