Back before we left home, Gina had been surfing the web and came across a company that did zip-line tours right outside of Victoria.  None of us had ever done it, and it looked fun, so we signed up for it.  Zena was not quite so enthusiastic, so she booked a massage at the spa, and told us to have fun.  We did.

Zip Line Video, WMV format, 40 seconds, 2.8 Mb.

Gina dropped her camera off of a bridge between stations, falling about 50 feet…but she was able to go back later and found it.  It was lightly scratched, but worked perfectly.

We got back from zip-lining about 2, and caught a late lunch with Zena, who had thoroughly enjoyed her spa day, but felt that she deserved a little more pampering.

After lunch we caught the 3:45 bus at the depot for the trip back to Vancouver.  By this time, I was feeling draggy.  I had started feeling bad on the zip-line, and was feeling worse and worse as time went on.  I intended to sleep on the ferry, but it was such a beautiful day that I just couldn’t stand it.  So Lana, Gina, and I spent the whole trip on the back deck, enjoying the scenery.

The bus dropped us off back at Pacific Palasaides, and I went straight to bed while the girls went out for dinner.
